Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering an exceptional career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade from underprivileged backgrounds. Founded by Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909, MHS provides housing, meals, and comprehensive support for students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as Flex Houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and nurturing to groups of approximately 8-12 students, maintaining a family-like structure and handling various responsibilities.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children allowed in the student home; abide by campus rules including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol on duty; limitations on approved pets; valid driver’s license, ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity and serve as role models for students; both spouses must submit individual employment applications
