Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school established in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey to provide exceptional education and support for students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds, is seeking married couples as Flex Houseparents. In this role, couples will reside in on-campus student homes, nurturing and guiding a group of approximately 8-12 students to provide a stable and family-like environment.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; This is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage; Both spouses should be age 27 or older; No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; Abide by campus regulations including a smoke-free and weapon-free environment, no alcohol while on duty, limitations on pets; Valid driver’s license; High school diploma or GED required; Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; Both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
