Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering pre-K through 12th-grade education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school provides students with career-focused education, housing, meals, and full coverage of all costs for a thriving learning environment. MHS is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to support and guide a group of 8-12 students, establishing a family-like structure and fulfilling various responsibilities.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and aged 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; adhere to campus regulations like smoke-free, weapon-free, and no alcohol on duty; limit of three dependent children in the student home; pet restrictions to fish and one approved breed of dog.
