Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: The Milton Hershey School, located in Hershey, PA, is seeking Residential Youth Caregivers who are married couples to reside in on-campus student homes. The role involves nurturing and guiding groups of 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds, providing a family-like structure, handling tasks such as driving and medication administration, and fostering a supportive environment.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol permitted on duty; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Proselytizing is prohibited); must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students
