Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering career-focused education and comprehensive support to students in pre-K through 12th grade from underprivileged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school provides free housing, meals, and all educational costs, ensuring a nurturing environment for both students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support to groups of students, creating a family-like atmosphere.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high degree of integrity to serve as role models for students; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and chapel services; adherence to campus rules on smoking, weapons, and alcohol; limitation on pets to fish and an approved dog breed.
