Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a prestigious private school providing career-focused education and support to students from pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school offers full endowment to ensure students and staff have all they need to succeed. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to mentor and guide a group of students, offering a family-like environment and fulfilling various responsibilities.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol while on duty; limited pet policy; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending chapel services; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high integrity and role model behavior; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
