Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents for disadvantaged students. These caregivers provide a family-like structure and oversee various responsibilities in a nurturing environment at the school, which offers exceptional education and covers all costs for students in pre-K through 12th grade.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol allowed on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved breed of dog permitted; valid driver’s license and ability to be certified to drive student home vans; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high integrity and role model behavior for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
