Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School is a renowned private school providing exceptional education and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, offering a family-like environment from pre-K through 12th grade with all expenses covered. The school is fully endowed, thanks to its founders, Milton and Catherine Hershey, ensuring a thriving environment for both students and staff. They are currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, guiding and nurturing a small group of students on campus.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from underserved settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage; both spouses should be 27 years or older; no more than three dependent children allowed in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved dog breed allowed; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
