Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private institution providing career-focused education and full support to pre-K through 12th-grade students from underprivileged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school offers a fully endowed environment for students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as Flex Houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support to groups of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; this is a two-person job for couples legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; abide by campus rules including no smoking, weapons, alcohol on duty, and limited pets; possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
