Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, provides a top-tier education including housing, meals, and full coverage for students from pre-K through 12th grade with disadvantaged backgrounds. The school is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, offering guidance and support to groups of students within a structured family-like environment on campus.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses aged 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (no proselytizing); adherence to campus regulations such as smoke-free, weapon-free environment, limitations on pets, and no alcohol on duty; high integrity and role-model behavior for students; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
