Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: The Milton Hershey School (MHS), a renowned private educational institution, is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents on their campus. Houseparents provide guidance and nurturing to groups of 8-12 students, creating a family-like atmosphere and supporting student development. MHS offers a comprehensive education and support system to students from pre-K through 12th grade, covering all expenses to ensure a thriving environment for both students and staff.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus regulations such as a smoke-free and weapon-free environment, no alcohol while on duty, and limitations on pets; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian services; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
