Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering a career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Established in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS is fully endowed, providing students and staff with all necessary resources for a thriving academic and residential experience. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support to a group of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this position is for couples who have been legally married for at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved breed of dog permitted; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
