Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: The Milton Hershey School, established in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is a renowned private school offering an exceptional career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade. The school provides housing, meals, and comprehensive support at no cost to students, ensuring their success in a family-like environment. Currently, the school is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, guiding and nurturing a small group of students while maintaining a supportive and structured living environment on campus.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; Must be a legally married couple for at least two years; Both spouses must be 27 years old or older; Limited to a maximum of three dependent children in the student home; High school diploma or GED required; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; Demonstrated integrity and ability to serve as a role model for students; Valid driver’s license and willingness to become certified to drive student home vans; Comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services; Must abide by campus rules including a smoke-free and weapon-free environment; Only fish and one approved breed dog permitted as pets
