Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School is one of the world’s best private schools, offering a career-focused education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds in pre-K through 12th grade. The school provides housing, meals, and comprehensive support, fully covered by the endowment established by Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909. They are currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, providing guidance and nurturing a small group of students while managing various household responsibilities on campus.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; must abide by campus rules including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved breed of dog allowed; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
