Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking Residential Youth Caregivers. This unique position involves married couples residing on-campus and providing guidance and nurturing to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Flex houseparents create a family-like environment, manage various responsibilities like administering medication and driving, and offer a supportive community for personal and professional growth within the school.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; able to lift up to 50 lbs; high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students
