Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: The Milton Hershey School is a renowned private institution providing exceptional career-focused education, housing, meals, and comprehensive support for students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. The Residential Youth Caregiver role involves married couples residing in on-campus homes, offering guidance and nurturing in a family-like environment within a smoke-free, alcohol-free campus. Flex houseparents handle various responsibilities such as medication administration and budgeting to ensure a stable support system for students.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth preferred; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses age 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate integrity as role models for students; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Sunday chapel services; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no alcohol while on duty and limitations on pets
