Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Residential Youth Caregivers. In this role, couples act as flex houseparents, providing guidance and support to small groups of students from underprivileged backgrounds within a family-like environment on campus. The school is fully endowed, offering students from pre-K to 12th grade a comprehensive education with covered housing, meals, and more.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be 27 or older; adherence to campus guidelines including no alcohol on duty, smoke-free and weapon-free policies, limitations on pets, and ability to lead students in daily devotions; possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstration of a high level of integrity as role models for students; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
