About: Mattel, a leading global toy and family entertainment company, is seeking a Party Planner for the American Girl Retail team at the AG Los Angeles Retail location. This role involves creating magical events for party guests through superior communication and organization according to AG specifications. The position offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment where decisions impact team and customer experiences.
Requirements: Minimum of 6 months’ work experience in customer relations, parties, or events; one to two years’ experience in a high-volume, fine-casual dining or related restaurant preferred; experience working with children preferred; current ServSafe certification preferred; good verbal and communication skills required; must enjoy public speaking, working with children, and possess a warm and friendly demeanor; ability to perform diverse physical tasks, including some heavy lifting and standing for extended periods; flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
