Position: Registered Nurse Progressive Care Coord PRN
About: Del Sol Medical Center is a full-service, acute-care hospital in east El Paso, Texas, with a Level II trauma designation and over 300 patient beds. Their services include emergency care, cardiac care, women’s services, Level III NICU, rehabilitation, a bariatric clinic, and a Minimally Invasive Surgery Center. Requirements: Education: ADN required; BSN or MSN preferred. Licensure/Certifications: RN licensure in Texas or compact state, BCLS required, ACLS and National Certification preferred. Experience: Two years clinical experience in Medical-Surgical nursing required, one year of management experience preferred, Acute Care experience. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Ability to develop a staff schedule, critical thinking ability, copes effectively with crisis and emergency situations, communicates clearly and concisely, encourages team-building efforts, ability to listen, empathize, and respond to patient, family, internal and external partner’s needs, bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
