Position: Registered Nurse II – ART HVC Prep & Recovery/Observation
About: ART Prep & Recovery (P&R) is a specialized unit located within the Ashley River Tower (ART) at the 3rd Heart & Vascular Center. The unit supports both inpatient and outpatient procedures in various areas including Vascular Interventional Radiology (VIR), Electrophysiology Lab (EP), Adult Cardiac Cath Lab, and ECHO Lab. The team operates from Monday morning at 6 am to Friday at 9 pm, working rotating shifts of 6 am to 6 pm, 7 am to 7 pm, and/or 9 am to 9 pm, collaborating closely with Registered Nurses and Heart & Vascular Technicians to ensure standardized prep and recovery processes are followed effectively.
Requirements: Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred; RN staff hired on or after July 1, 2013, with an Associate or Diploma degree in nursing must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two years and obtain a BSN degree within four years; minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required; licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state; current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications required
