Position: Regional General Manager (Detroit, MI)
About: The Ainsworth, a GDI Company, is currently seeking an experienced and operationally savvy leader to oversee a Regional Portfolio of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) services for a premier client in the Automotive Engineering and Manufacturing sector. This leadership role involves managing both Hard (Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical) and Soft (Janitorial, Landscaping, Moves/Adds/Changes) Facilities Services, ensuring seamless operations, compliance, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for contract compliance, financial performance, and strategic service delivery while fostering strong client relationships and employee engagement. Requirements: 7+ years of direct IFM leadership (General Manager or similar leadership position) or a bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or management with 5+ years of operational leadership experience; Formal Continuous Improvement (Lean Six Sigma) leadership experience; Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage all levels of the organization; Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in incident investigations and risk mitigation; Experience with CMMS, Smartsheet, MS Office Suite, MS Project, Power BI, CRM applications, and related software; Fluency in English is required, and bilingual proficiency (Spanish/French) is an asset
