Position: Recreation Technician – Customer Service and Front Desk Representative

About: The Town of Queen Creek is currently hiring Recreation Technicians for the new Recreation and Aquatics Centers that are expected to open in Spring 2025. This position involves providing routine, prompt, and courteous customer service at the front desk, over the telephone, and online to internal and external customers. The Recreation Technicians will also play a crucial role in implementing customer service-focused programs or projects as directed and assisting with research and referral services for customers. This role combines intermediate-level customer service and fully qualified administrative support within the recreation job family, requiring solid knowledge of transactional and work standards under general supervision.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; First Aid, CPR/AED, Food Safety Certificate; must maintain all certifications/licenses required at job entry; knowledge of recreation programming principles, digital media, first aid methods, customer service principles, and standard office equipment; strong organization, planning, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
