Position: Recreation Services Assistant Division Manager
About: The Parks and Recreation Department in Albuquerque is seeking a dedicated and experienced Recreation Services Facilities Manager to oversee operations, events, and activities within the department. This role involves managing facility maintenance, organizing large events such as the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, and providing administrative support to the Division Manager and Director of Parks and Recreation.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in public administration, physical education, or recreation administration; five (5) years of managerial experience in recreation or sports operations including two (2) years of supervisory experience; certification and/or membership in the New Mexico Recreation and Parks Association preferred; possession of a valid New Mexico Driver’s License; possession of a City Operator’s Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire
