Position: RECREATION PROGRAM COORDINATOR (Administrative Officer) – Range 14 / AMEA
About: The Municipality of Anchorage, specifically the Parks and Recreation department, is seeking a detail-oriented individual to oversee the management and operation of municipal recreational and park programs and events at the location on 12001 Business Blvd, Eagle River. This position involves developing and coordinating various events, training staff and volunteers, coordinating permits, and engaging in community outreach and planning activities.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Finance, or similar discipline and two (2) years of relevant experience. Employment is conditional based on a satisfactory background check. Must have American Red Cross First Aid Certification and American Red Cross Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 30 days of hire. Valid State of Alaska Driver’s License required.
