Position: RECREATION LEADER
About: The City of Glendale Parks and Recreation Department offers a diverse range of recreation programs and facilities aimed at enhancing the social, physical, mental, and economic health of the community. The Department manages public parks, open spaces, trails, facilities like the Foothills Recreation and Aquatics Center, Glendale Adult Center, Historic Sahuaro Ranch, and numerous community centers, providing a wide array of programs, events, and activities for youth and adults alike.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in planning, implementing, and coordinating recreational activities preferred; knowledge of safety protocols and city policies; ability to interact effectively with program participants and enforce rules and regulations; organizational skills and ability to set up equipment and facilities for activities and events
