Position: Recreation Coordinator / Senior Recreation Coordinator (Youth Sports)
About: The City of Tempe’s Community Services Department, specifically the Parks and Recreation division, is in search of a Recreation Coordinator and Senior Recreation Coordinator for their Youth Sports Program. This position involves planning, coordinating, developing, and implementing specialized activities and leagues within the recreation program area, focusing on youth sports, special events, instructional activities, and coordination of sports officials.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in recreation, recreation administration, or related field; Two (2) years of experience in implementing and coordinating recreational programs, including some supervisory experience for Recreation Coordinator and two (2) years of experience in recreational programs or sports facility management, including one year of supervisory experience for Senior Recreation Coordinator; Possession of a valid driver’s license
