Position: Recreation Coordinator (Recreation Coord I-Adaptive Recreation)
About: Portland Parks and Recreation is excited to announce an opportunity for a Recreation Coordinator I to join our Adaptive Recreation team. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by planning, developing, coordinating, and evaluating a diverse range of recreation programs.
Requirements: Knowledge of community recreation needs specific to people with disabilities; experience in planning, developing, coordinating, and evaluating recreation programs relevant to people with disabilities; knowledge of effective methods for recruiting, assigning, directing work, motivating, and evaluating the performance of staff; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders; possession of a valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to pass a background check
