Position: Recreation Assistant Manager- Community Recreation Center (Vacancy)
About: Under the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department, the City of Columbus is currently seeking a Recreation Supervisor to assist with managing recreational programs and overseeing activities on a Citywide basis. The position involves organizing and directing programs, events, and activities at community recreational centers, ensuring safety and quality for participants of all ages and abilities.
Requirements: Possession of a bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience in recreation or education; leadership experience in community service is beneficial; valid Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certificate required; American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor’s certificate may be necessary for swim instruction roles; some positions may require a valid motor vehicle operator’s license
