Position: Recovery Support Specialist
About: Jim Taliaferro Community Health Center (JTCMHC), located in Lawton, OK, is a community-based center with a primary focus on mental health and substance abuse treatment. The center provides inpatient and outpatient services, including specialized groups for adolescents, individuals with co-occurring disorders, seniors, women, men, and criminal justice populations.
Requirements: Lead Certified Recovery Support Specialist: Currently certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist; high school diploma or GED; personal knowledge in advocacy in recovery; 4 years of PRSS experience. Senior Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist: Currently certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist; high school diploma or GED; personal knowledge in advocacy in recovery; 2 years of PRSS experience. Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist: Currently certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist; high school diploma or GED; personal knowledge in advocacy in recovery.
