Position: RECEPTIONIST- Evenings
About: Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health, located in Norfolk, Virginia, is a leading community partner providing Acute, Residential, and Partial Hospitalization treatment for children and teens with behavioral and mental health concerns. The hospital, founded in 1986, is dedicated to offering high-quality care to children, adolescents, and their families through evidence-based practice treatments. It is an 82-bed hospital facility accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) and licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS).
Requirements: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; Skill in the use of paging systems, including switchboards and overhead communication systems; Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling important matters; Demonstrated experience of 6 months or more providing receptionist and switchboard services in a hospital setting preferred; High school diploma or equivalent; Skill in the use of computer systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) preferred; Ability to work flexible shifts and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision and take initiative on urgent matters.
