Position: Racing Valet – Fairmount Park Casino & Racing
About: Fairmount Park Casino and Racing, located in Collinsville, Illinois, is currently seeking a Racing Valet to ensure the proper preparation and securing of jockeys, jockey equipment, and attire for each race.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; 0-6 months of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Must have experience working with and around horses, not necessarily as a Valet; Lead completion of daily tasks within the department or work unit; Interact with others when necessary to achieve desired outcomes; Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English; Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests; Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules; Multilingual, preferred; Must have the ability to perform basic math skills; Must qualify for a license with Illinois Racing Board
