Position: Quality Manager
About: The Quality Manager position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s Quality Assurance functions to ensure consistent product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. This hands-on leadership role manages quality personnel, maintains ISO 9001 compliance, and collaborates cross-functionally to support manufacturing and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered; minimum of 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment; minimum of 5 years of direct experience managing ISO 9001 systems, including implementation, training, and auditing; proven leadership and team management skills in a manufacturing setting; strong understanding of technical documentation, including blueprints, military specifications, and GD&T; hands-on experience with inspection methods and tools, including CMMs and Vision Systems; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); Lean and Six Sigma experience strongly preferred; excellent communication skills with the ability to present quality concepts and performance data to all levels of the organization and customers; familiarity with special processes such as heat treating and plating is a plus
