Position: Quality Manager
About: Great opportunity for advancement with a privately held growing global company serving the automotive and industrial fastener markets located in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The company is seeking a Quality Manager with a Tier 1 background to develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems ensuring products meet customer and regulatory requirements. This role involves leading the quality team, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to uphold manufacturing standards and compliance. Occasional travel may be required for supplier audits or customer visits.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience); 5+ years in quality management within a manufacturing environment; Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or industry-specific quality standards; Experience with quality tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis; Proficiency in quality management systems (QMS) and statistical analysis software; Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments; Must possess a strategic approach to problem resolution; Must be experienced and comfortable working in a plant environment
