Position: Quality & Food Safety (QFS) Technician
About: Farmer’s Fridge, located at 5370 S. Cicero Ave, Chicago, IL, is on a mission to make it simple for everyone to eat well. They serve healthy, handcrafted meals and snacks through a network of software-enabled vending machines known as smart Fridges. The company is focused on changing the food system by promoting healthy eating options and sustainability.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; at least one (1+) years of work experience in quality and/or food manufacturing; working knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, and Food Safety requirements; able to work in a 38°F environment for a full shift; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to think on your feet and know when to escalate and ask for help; ability to stay organized and be flexible in a fast-paced environment; excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
