About: Capitol Cement, a division of Zachry, is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to perform a variety of tests on raw materials, intermediate, and finished products during the manufacturing process of Portland cement. The role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards established by the American Society for Testing and Materials and internal standards set by Capitol Cement.
Requirements: Successful completion of high school or GED certificate desired; no previous experience required; ability to read, write, and follow instructions; clear communication and teamwork skills essential; careful handling of test equipment and chemicals necessary; ability to work independently and take direction; meeting expectations in the current position
