Position: Public Area Heavy Duty Porter
About: The Public Areas Department at Island View Casino Resort is seeking a Heavy Duty Porter responsible for deep cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the presentation of all public areas, including parking facilities, back offices, halls, and elevators. The role involves operating heavy-duty equipment, carpet shampooing, moving furniture, deep cleaning floors, and ensuring supplies are delivered to various areas.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED Equivalent preferred; knowledge of heavy-duty equipment operation, carpet cleaning, furniture moving, and floor cleaning techniques; familiarity with safety rules and OSHA regulations; previous experience as a Heavy Duty Porter or similar role preferred; excellent organizational and communication skills; minimum age requirement of 21 years old.
