Position: Psychiatrist
About: The Staff Psychiatrist position at Vanderbilt University Counseling Center provides integrated psychiatric assessment and ongoing care for students. The role involves developing evidence-based treatment plans, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with various campus partners to support student mental health. The position also includes providing outreach and educational programming to enhance student mental health and wellness on campus.
Requirements: Board-certified/board-eligible Psychiatrist with completion of ACGME-approved psychiatric residency required; eligibility and/or active medical licensure in Tennessee required; eligibility and/or active DEA required; work experience in a counseling center preferred; experience working with transitional age youth preferred; experience in crisis intervention and consultation preferred; demonstrated ability to interact effectively with patients/clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds preferred
