Position: Props & Décor Supervisor
About: Rail Events Productions is seeking a Props & Decor Supervisor to join their team. The Props & Decor Supervisor will work with the Design team, Production Staff, and on-site management during rehearsals, load in, performances, and load out. Responsibilities include overseeing the load-in, inventory, care, pre-setting, and maintenance of all props and scenic decor associated with the production, ensuring artistic integrity and assisting in event-related tasks as needed. The role requires collaboration with Production Props & Decor Supervisor, Production Managers, and Stage Managers to uphold the integrity of props and decor designs throughout the event.
Requirements: Experience in props management and repair; possess DIY, craft, sewing, and repair skills; experience as a theatrical technician; strong organizational, time management, and communication skills; ability to work in a team in a dynamic environment; ability to work independently with attention to detail; problem-solving skills; effective oral and written communication; commitment to working in cross-functional teams with seasonal employees and interns.
