Position: Program Support Coordinator
About: Under the supervision of the Senior Events Manager, the Program Support Coordinator will assume responsibilities for staffed programs sponsored through UCLA Residential Life and On Campus Housing Units. The role involves coordinating, advising on event implementation, and overseeing the inventory and management of Residential Life programming equipment. Requirements: Working knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices of event planning and production and public relations; ability to operate a PC with Microsoft Office software; good interpersonal communication skills and political acumen, including skill in effectively representing the department to its publics; ability to supervise student technicians and other student employees; working organizational skills, including skill in effectively coordinating and organizing multiple details; skill in analyzing the technical needs of meetings/events/classes; Bachelor’s Degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training; valid driver’s license and ability to safely drive University-owned vehicle (GEM/Golf Cart)
