Position: Program Coordinator Senior (3-year Term)
About: The NITMB is a new University Research Institute (URIC) led by Northwestern University and partnered with the University of Chicago. The institute aims to create an interdisciplinary research hub that advances knowledge in biology and mathematics, supporting developments in areas like the environment, medicine, and technology. NITMB engages in education, workforce development, and broadening participation activities with a focus on diverse communities and collaborations. The Sr Program Coordinator role oversees Education and Outreach efforts, managing various programs, workshops, communications, and marketing activities.
Requirements: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor’s or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience. 2 years program/project administration or other relevant experience. Intermediate knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, website CMS or similar, Adobe Creative Suite or similar, email, and database software programs is required. Experience managing programs at a non-profit or university. Experience working with diverse populations.
