About: The Training and Standards Division promotes the goal of competence and integrity in the criminal justice professions and private protective professions through employment and certification standards, professional training, and technical assistance. It provides coordinated staffing support to various commissions and boards associated with criminal justice and private protective services in North Carolina.
Requirements: High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma required; two years of related administrative experience preferred; ability to organize and prioritize work duties to ensure timely completion; high level of attention to detail and accuracy; effective communication skills via email, verbal, or written; considerable knowledge of relevant programs; professionalism, tact, and courtesy in communication; knowledge of laws associated with the programs; proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office products
