Position: Production Baker
About: Fresh, cheerful, and always delicious, Honey & Rye, a neighborhood bakery since 2013, is looking for a full-time experienced, organized go-getter to help round out our production team. Our Bakers are tasked with the timely execution of our production and daily prep list, communicating effectively with co-workers, and participating in the maintenance of a clean & organized kitchen. Our ideal candidate is interested in training up in multiple departments, from open baker, to delivery driver, to holiday production prep. Reports to Kitchen Manager. Starting at $16 – $18 per hour (50 cent pay differential for open baker shifts, delivery shifts starting at $18/hr). Schedule is 32 – 40 hours per week, at least one weekend day required + scheduling flexibility to accommodate holiday and business needs. Shift coverage can start as early as 3:00 AM, or finish as late as 3:00 PM (6 – 8 hour workdays).
Requirements: Production baking experience required; comfortable driving and delivering in a small sprinter van; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; physically able to stand long periods of time & lift 50 lbs; dependable, flexible and team-oriented; commitment to executing company Mission, Vision and Values.
