Position: Principal Architect
About: McDonald’s Global Architecture team is responsible for the architecture, design, integration, and management strategy of McDonald’s digital and restaurant landscape, supporting over 38,000 McDonald’s restaurants in 120 countries. We are looking for a collaborative individual to drive infrastructure solutions and services, maintain architecture standards, and influence restaurant application designs and transformation initiatives.
Requirements: 12+ years’ experience in design, implementation and/or consulting of distributed applications; ability to lead IT infrastructure/platform and (cloud) technology development projects; strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills; excellent oral and written communication skills interacting with business and IT stakeholders; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, test automation, containers, Docker, Kubernetes, configuration management systems, scalability, performance tuning, retail and eCommerce technology; experience working with 3rd party suppliers and offshore resources
