Position: Prep Cook job
About: Another Broken Egg Cafe, established in 1996, is a unique breakfast, brunch, and lunch place known for its second-to-none menu loaded with fresh ingredients and creative recipes. Each location offers a casual getaway ambiance with a focus on family, friends, and friendly service, embodying the philosophy of ‘Nothing Short of Right is Right’. Managed by hands-on owners, the cafe ensures attention to detail to create a satisfying customer experience, making guests feel as comfortable as they would be at home.
Requirements: Lifts and carries up to 70 lbs multiple times throughout a shift; comfortable working frequently in a hot and damp environment; ability to use hands 100% of the time; must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time (6-8 hours); must be able to hear well over loud background noise; must be able to pass any safety and sanitation validation and/or testing; must be able to read, organize, and execute all prep lists; must be ready and excited to work in a fast-paced environment; must wear proper dress attire; ability to maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment; willing and able to comply with our dress code due to our open kitchen setting
