Position: Prep Cook job
About: Murphy’s Taproom, known for its dedication to serving picture-perfect plates, is seeking Prep Cooks to join their team. The Prep Cooks ensure the use of the freshest ingredients, maintain a clean and organized line throughout shifts, and adhere to health code requirements and sanitation practices.
Requirements: Demonstrated 2 years of full-service restaurant cooking experience; Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment as part of a team; Strong knife skills; Ability to follow written recipes and order tickets; Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills; Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures; Accuracy and speed in task execution; Current knowledge of culinary trends and kitchen processes; Ability to work 8 or more hours on feet daily; Flexibility with schedule; Ability to lift at least 40 pounds regularly
