Position: Prep Cook job
About: Bean’s Cafe, a well-established grassroots non-profit organization located at 1524 Ship Ave. in Anchorage, AK, is seeking a Prep Cook to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking specialty soups to meet community food needs while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience in high volume food production; skilled in various cooking techniques; knowledge and adherence to sanitation procedures; ability to read recipes, follow directions, and lift up to 50 lbs; compassionate and able to work independently and with a team; able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines; positive attitude and respectful demeanor
