Position: Prep Cook job
About: This position reports to the Head Chef/Sous Chef and involves responsibilities such as food preparation, stock management, recipe adherence, equipment operation, safety and sanitation practices, collaboration with kitchen staff, and adherence to company policies. Other duties include assisting with kitchen tasks, maintaining attendance and punctuality, following safety guidelines, and availability for night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Requirements: Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks; Work Environment: High-paced kitchen with moderate to high noise levels, exposure to sharp objects, hot surfaces, and wet conditions; Skills: Strong knife skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow recipes accurately; Experience: Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar role is preferred
