About: The Colorado Department of Human Services is seeking a Food Services Worker to join the Division of Youth Services Food Services Department at Prairie Vista Youth Service Center. The Division of Youth Services provides a range of residential and non-residential services for youth in the Colorado Department of Human Services custody, including detention, commitment, and parole. With a focus on youth success and community safety, the Division operates secure facilities and partners with private service providers across the state. This role plays a crucial part in preparing meals for youth and maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
Requirements: One year of food services experience required, including hosting, serving, delivering, cashiering, prepping, and cooking; ability to work various shifts between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.; knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures; willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
