Requirements: Fundamental understanding of sanitation and cleanliness; Knowledge of commercial kitchen and equipment; Effective communication skills; Must be self-motivated and able to problem solve effectively; Food Handler’s certification preferred, but not initially required; Multi-faceted, multi-skilled, resourceful, and willing to do whatever it takes to serve high-quality food; Model positive character traits and habits; Embody a ‘food is love’ attitude; Unwavering commitment to the KIPP mission; Desire to continuously learn and increase effectiveness as a professional
