Position: Prep Cook – $21/hr
About: HMSHost at Portland International Airport is currently seeking a Cook to join their team. This position involves preparing cooked foods, handling various station functions, and ensuring the highest quality of service to customers and associates in a fast-paced restaurant environment at the airport location in Portland, OR.
Requirements: Requires food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards; minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience preferred in a high volume and casual dining restaurant environment; food knowledge pertaining to Soups, Sauté, Broiler, Fry, and Pantry; ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform job functions; comfortable with immersion in water and working with sharp tools and hot surfaces; must be able to communicate effectively with customers
